So I have a cheap squire bullet that I'm looking to make a string thru body.

What the question is Do I just put the bridge on (at proper distance from 12th fret) mark and drill the holes for the strings then install the ferrules (rear ferrules). The bridge is a strat style hardtail so I don’t need ferrules in the front right?

Sorry if I'm not very clear on this, also I searched for about an hour and could not find what I wanted to know so if any of you have a link to a tutorial or something it would be greatly appreciated. This has to be a common modification.

Do not make a left handed guitar unless you want a left handed guitar.

In other words make sure your following the templete on the proper side of the body.... Luckily the error was caught before the cut was made.
