Hmm just seemed like an odd choice to me lol, thanks for explaining!
We use 6061 our JSF and Apache parts, specifically radar equipment etc.
I am a CNC operator/programmer myself.

The problem with aluminum is there is all kinds of stuff, ranging from soft to hard etc. I dont know if 6061-t6 is on the harder side of it. Thats why i was wondering about it.
Brass sounds like an good option too.

Looks good. But why choose aluminum instead of stainless steel? Is it gonna hold? Or is it a special kind of aluminum?

Scratch X is more or less used as a cover up. You maybe want to look into Poorboys World SSR1, 2 or 3.

I would buy a 7 string multiscale kit.
I am new to building and/or refinishing a guitar.
