Finally! I'm looking forward to see this finished!
-
I like it! Looks much more balanced now.
-
Looking good!

I've heard swamp ash is sort of mid-rangey is that true?
Check this out: http://www.warmoth.com/guitar/options/options_bodywoods.cfm

Yeah, how does swamp ash look with just some cellulose lacquer on it?
I'm not sure, but I assume this is lacquer finished: Click!

When talking about teles, particulary old school ones, the first thing that comes to my mind is swamp ash. Maybe you could use it for the body. It also looks cooler than alder.
-
Sounds very nice!
-
I'm loving it already!
-
Looking good! Post some more pics!
-
Yes, this is going to be an awesome one!
-
I like the design, and the woods! :D I'm really looking forward to see this finished! Good luck with it!

Looking good!

Have you thought about covering the front/back of the headstock with veneer? That scarf-joint pops up pretty badly.
-
Looking good, especially the body design. I'd cover the headstock with a veneer, because without it it would look messy.
Good luck with it!
-
I like the design!
Are you by any chance going to chamber the body? With those woods it would probably weight a ton!
-
Sorry to see that, it was so nice.
-
I like it, reminds me a lot of this.
-
Actually the third one looks kinda cool, but I'd still go with the natural.
-
It looks awesome as it is, just put a clear coat of lacquer on it!
-
Nice design. To me the buckeye burl fretboard would make the bass look messy. It would simply have too much going on in it.
-
What would be the best way to finish a wenge neck? Warmoth says it requiers no finish but it feels kinda odd to me.
I think I'll be using grain filler with the mahogany but should I use it with the bubinga also?
-
HI, I really, really like that body design.
Thanks!
-
That wenge looks killer!
-
Very nice use of wood there, Jon!

Looks great. You have made excellent wood choices!
