I think asking a specific question will be most beneficial, unless your asking for advice for beginners.

How old is the guitar, and how often has it been played? If it is fairly old it may very well be dented frets, but the neck might have also warped, meaning that your neckis in need of truss rod adjustment. Seeing that it is only on two frets, i doubt if its the string height.

Would it be Hardwoods Inc by any chance?

That is one sweet guitar. Im so jealous. I noticed you are from Gaithersburg, me too. Do you get your wood locally?

That is sweet.

If your talking about the fretboard, it is inlaid, a combination of mother of pearl and abalone i believe. (or fake of each)

Looks like a sweet project. Where are you planning to obtain your sustainer?

Parallel. Series would give you a hotter signal.
Some guys add this option to their Telecasters, but those are singlecoils.
I haven't heard humbuckers in series before, but my guess is you'd get a hot, muddy sound.
I like the sound of humbuckers in parallel.
Yea, i thought so. I know about those single coils and the S1 switching, but i was just making sure. Thanks

In a typical Les Paul, Sg or other dual humbucker guitar, are the two humbuckers wired in series or parallel with each other. Im not talking about coil splitting but each pickup in relation to the other. What would be the result if they were wired oppositely? Thanks in advance!

you cannot get replacement necks for PRS guitars, (unless you steal one that theyve sawn in half). I'll be going to the factory in a week or two, so maybe i'll find one laying around

Allright thanks! I cant wait to get started!

Has anybody ever used a stew mac "Hot Rod". http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Truss_rods/Hot...Truss_Rods.html
It says something like no anchor, do you just rout straight rectangular channel, and then glue in the ends, without an anchor point? This is my first neck, and i do not feel like learning the hard way. I would be happy if anybody with experience could enlughten me, or possibly give me a link to a diagram. Thanks in advance!

Oh yea. Its so much nicer to have the guitar done right the first time than having moving parts to worry about.
