how thick was the veneer ?

I just drank the kool-aid and bought a Shapeoko XXL. I have been a long term lurker and finally pulled the trigger yesterday. I figured I would get a head start and ask you guys where you source your bits ?
Should I buy a bunch of cheap ones from china ? I have a bunch of top end router bits to hold me over for a bit, but wanted to double up and dedicate in case of mayhem.

I'm impressed by all I am seeing, but the swift bass really does it for me.
