  1. Not in-it-to-win-it, but here is my first ever completed build.

    Spec

    Top / Control Cover: English Walnut

    Body: 1 piece Poplar

    Neck: 1 piece Khaya

    Fretboard: Baked Maple, 10” Radius, Green Clay Dot Markers

    Frets: 22 medium jumbo, nickel

    Headstock Cap: Burled Elm

    Scale: 24.75”

    Bridge/Machine Heads: Gotoh

    Pickup: Monty’s Guitars J90 (superb pickup)

    Plate: Copper (made by Indra Guitars, Hastings UK)

    Wiring Harness: James’ Home of Tone pre-wired LPJ

    Weight: Bugger-all - the poplar was the weight of a frisbee...

    Finish: Crimson Guitars high build penetrating finishing oil, gold grain fill, green stain: “What if 6 really was 9” but local paint maker
