    Ok. I've wired it according to a seymour duncan schematic which consists of 1 humbucker, 2 single coils, 1 volume, 2 tones and 1 5-way switch. If the guitar is directly plugged into an amp, it works fine. If i add a distortion pedal i get no sound with the pedal on or off. I have a fender quire which works fine with or without the pedal so it is definatly something with the guitar and its wiring. Here is a link to the image
