i'm going with orange, on the grounds tht they take an inspiration from the best flavour of 'smarties' (if u have em in the U.S.)

the idea to try and make a small amp out of some crappy walkman speakers came into the thinkbox the other day. now, i have no idea as to what rating the speakers are, but i currently have them, and a 250k push/pull pot doing nothing. does anybody have any ideas if i can make em into a smallish battery powered amp? and, i have a limited knowledge of amps, so speak slowly

Yeah, i've heard a good deal about Ibanez's, but hav yet to play on one. seem pretty cool tho.
I do think tht i jst love my tele too much now. as much as one of my friends likes to rub it in, how he has a jazz master and so on so on, i jst think tht the right guitar is one tht fits u. I reckon in total i've spent about, probably 140 quid on the thing (its second hand n has a good number of dings on it), but this ones staying for quite some time

hello every1!
jst figured i'd make myself known. i'm 16, own a squire strat and a tele, and have jst stared modding guitars. so far, i've only shielded the telecaster, installed a seymour duncan stl2 in the bridge and put in a phase switch.
help on a neck join
in Solidbody Guitar and Bass Chat

I managed to get a solid body (mahogany i think), with the neck join and pickup holes already cut from a friend. This came with a neck taken from an old marlin neck. He told me that the slot was too narrow for the neck, so he tried widening it.
The problem is that this left a gap on the lower side of the neck, as he did it with sandpaper creating a curve on the side of the pocket. also, there is no wood between the pocket and the neck pickup cavity. Is this a problem, or can i get away with leaving it as it is?
and if it is a problem, how can i fix it?
(i wud post pictures, but dont really know how to)
