DONT THINK IM STOOPID!

I am new to building guitar necks.

Does anybody have any hints or tips for using the Warmoth steel rods?

Do you install them in-line with the truss rod or do you install them parallel to the neck edges?

I am trying to build a 5-String bass guitare with a 5 strip laminated wood neck.

Thaks for the reply and good summary of what the difference is between Gorilla Glue and Titebond.

I will keep my Gorilla glue for special needs and will buy some Titebond today for the general wood to wood bonding.

So what is the benefit / advantage of Titebond over Gorilla Glue? I am just about to start building my first guitar and have a small bottle of the Gorilla glue. I just wanted to know what to watch out for.
