I haven't personally used this guy, I just found the site a while ago. Good luck.
Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, Manchester Guitar is out of stock. I rang this morning. He has no idea of when he''ll get more, citing some manufacturer issue.

Folks,
I am in need of some amber neck tint nitro in spray cans. I've relocated from the States to London and can't seem to find a solid source for it here in the UK. I've been spoiled by StewMac's selection and availability but, alas, they don't ship overseas.
Anyone know of a UK source for "Fender Style" neck amber nitro in a rattle can?
Thanks and best regards,
Steve

I think the drum material is an option. There are/were a number of Italian instrument manufacturers using various colors of pearls. I bet that is the same stuff, perhaps with a different backing material.

Because I'm a complete goofball, I'm working on an Euro/Italian-style guitar with a bound pearloid covered top and headstock. I'm practicing on a pre-finished (poly?) LP/slab style and would like to know:
How can I affix the pearloid material to a modern poly finish?
How can I affix the pearloid material to unfinished wood, and when? Before or after sealer ?
Thanks and best regards,

Folks,
I'm building a couple of semi-hollow guitars- 25.5, laminated poplar, strat electronics, Bigsby knockoffs, nitro black and reranch vintage creme, sort of a nod to 60's Italian guitars but with upgraded technology.
I'll need to cut slots in the pickguard material for a non-standard locations for the strat 5-way blade switches. How do you accomplish this? Anthony at Mission Guitars suggested a drill press but I'm not so sure I can pull that off. Any suggestions?

Rustin's Pc Over Acrylic Lacquer Colour Coat?
in Inlays and Finishing Chat
Posted
Folks,
I'm constructing a semi-hollow and I plan on painting the sides a solid colour whilst dying the top and back. My goal is to have a consistent, easy to apply, hard finish. Rustin's PC looks like just the thing. I know the dye is compatible with Rustin's PC, but is good ol' auto acrylic lacquer in a rattle can also compatible with Rustins? The dye and acrylic finishes will be separated by binding so I don't need to worry about them interacting.
Thanks and best regards,
Steve
