  1. yeah it usually takes time and fooling around to get the zoom working but i say its worth it as for the ds-1 i have no choice but to agree, an excellent pedal for the cost
  2. holy crap the metal zone is the worse distortion pedal ive ever tried just to make sure it wasnt the guitar, i broke out a les paul studio and a marshall amp at the local music store and tried this piece of crap out the sound of this pedal is just awful maybe it was good 20 years ago, but this thing sucks and for 80 dollars? not in this life time for good distortion which you can modify till the cows come home and for only 20 dollars more, check out the zoom pedals awesome distortion and for you who already own the zoom 505 or 606, my fave setting is the G6 distortion....brilliance
  3. i have just recieved a very nice conditioned body except for the fact that it is plastered with stickers i did my best to take off the stickers, but now i am left with the white backing of the stickers(the sticky part) any suggestions as to how i could remove them without damage to the finish? thanks muchos
  4. If i were to chisel out the first single cavity on my h-s-s guitar, what additional wiring would i need to connect the pickup? would i need to do any additional volume pots? thanks alot
  5. im sick of ebay and all their fees does anyone have a finsihed(or unfinished, preferably finished) body that has a jackson or kramer look to it that theyre willing to sell? wiring for the p/u switch and pots would be cool too.... i can pay directly with paypal, im tired of paying ebay money. also a jackson neck would be appreciated thanks anyway
  6. hmmm based on the numerous suggestions of humbuckers ill probly just get a configuration more along the lines of a h-s-h hopefulyl i can find a cheaper single coil that does nice clean tones.

Hi, im new to this forum, and to the world of project guitar for my first project im planning to buy an independent used body, neck and customize etc the black body i have has scratches and dings in it is there some kind of process i can use to paint and then smoothen out these scratches? thanks for anything
