  1. Actually me and my friend figured out a way to do it =]

Since its only one fret I am going to replace, just cut off that one fret (first fret) and replace the whole fret entirely.. since u gotta have it split anyways for the fretwire, it should work.. I just gotta find someone to do it now, as my friend is not sure he wants to attempt it as its kinda hard.. Maybe ill ask somoene here in a new post hmm

    :D

  2. Scratch the natural plan. I think I will just go ahead and do a custom paint job. I just realized that my guitar is made of basswood which isn't the prettiest of display woods and that it's made of 3 pieces of wood so it wouldn't look very good even if I liked the basswood look. Sorry to cause you guys all this trouble. :D

  3. You want to go buy a $2000 guitar just so you can down-tune? Are you kidding me? Go buy another Ibanez if you're gonna do that. get one with a fixed bridge, like a PGM or an RGA321f. Their both cheaper than a Les Paul and better quality, IMO.

  4. Well I want it to where I don't need to completely prep the body, I just want to get down to the wood and make it a natural finish. If this means I have to get down to the bare wood, then what are the steps I need to take?

Oh, the pic? Me and my friend made that on photoshop. We just took a pic of a 10th JEM and made a bunch of lighting effects. :D
