i haven't got the time at the moment. i've just started a new course... i've barely got enough time for playing, let alone building

no worries man, but remember i'm not a noob, i have been playing this game quite a while

just to confirm, i dnt want anything from scratch, i have the current jackson neck and just want the old fretboard taken off, the new one put on, some fret lines cut and some new 1's put on so i can get it back from whoever can do the work, attach it to my guitar and start playing the same day!

*ahem*.....(reality check).....if you replace the fretboard without doing a fret level-crown-polish and setup, you'll be sorely disappointed in the playability.

i'm not a complete fool, i do know that some work will need to be done myself when i get the neck back on the guitar. i mean i just dont wanna be putting frets on myself or anything like that.

i'm from Oxford, i've not actually bought the board as such, but as soon as i can find someone who's willing to atleast look at it, i will. i'm buying it in from the US. any takers? fell free to PM me with location and a guestimate price range

ok, here's the situation, i've found myself a nice little fretboard with a sweet little inlay design on it, however; as i said, i can't make/ work with necks for toffee! would anyone be able to attach the fretbord to the neck & give it some frets for me? as i said before, for the right price ofcourse (preferably within the UK)

hey there, i've made a few bodies before, but never necks, i was wondering if anyone would be able to make/ modify a neck for me for my jackson RR5 rhoads.

you must be an inlay GOD! as i've got big ideas for this neck, any offers just post back.

right, here's the story, many of you will've seen my previous polls, but i've found out i've only got room for one humbucker on my new project (don't ask why) so, i was wondering, if given the option, which of the above would you choose for a lone bridge humbucker.

as you may know, i did a poll a few days ago about which pickup configuration you would most prefer, and the most common was two humbuckers. i'm now seeing which brand of humbuckers i should use, and if you would be so kind, could you also state the type of pickup ie distiortion/blues in a post

i'm not planning on using crappy pickups, i've got a limit of about £100 so i think i can buy some pretty decent ones for that price, it looks like i'll be dishing out about £50 a humbucker

nope, i'm trying to limit my expences, 3 humbuckers would cost about £150, way more then i wanna pay!

hey guys, i need a hand, i'm planning on re-covering the grill cloth on my marshall stack, but i don't want to take the old cloth off, so i was planning on putting the cover over the old grill cloth. the problem i'm having is taking the Marshall logos off.... they won't budge... is there a safe way to take them off without hurting them?! (it's an MG stack)

i've seen it been done before, a Marshall Micro stack would also work, it you took it appart!

umm i think i was on about resistance

right, i've got a metal film resistor, and i need more of the same power, can anyine tell me what power a resistor that has the colours (in order):

red blue black brown (gold)

the white looks classic,

the black looks tacky!

i very rearly have to restring my guitars, i think i've had all my strings for over a year on all of my guitars and they're in perfect working order, i think his problem must be caused by sweat. he keeps his guitar in a case with a packet of silica gel in it, is this a good idea?

my friend has given me a guitar to restring (an acoustic), he's only had the old strings on for a few weeks and they've gone rusty, how should he stop this from happening to his new set of strings?

i've got a friend with an ibanez who can go all the way down (his strings get stuck to the magnets in the pickups)

mine was a ovation cleb whick i still have sat behind me, 250 english pounds it cost me! what a bargin!
