-

i only play 2 songs in drop-d, and it buggs me when i have to de-tune my guitar just to play those songs!
-
Stairway to heaven and greenday's 'time of your life'/'good riddance' saved me at a campfire situation once!!!
-
get your first one done before thinking about your second!!!
-
i bought a marshall MS-4 the other day,
they're really cool, has anyone else got one?!?!
(just being nosey!!!)
-

-
-
give the the address of where the picture is and i'll do it for you
it isn't on the internet, it's on my P.C!!! don't worry about it though, you lot can live without my crappy drawings!!!
-
you could wire a switch jack to disconnect the internal speaker when you plug in the extension.
i like this idea too, i missed it first time round, so... anyone gonna tell me how to do this then?!?!
i mean, where do you buy them for a start, and could anyone do a diagram of where to put it in?!?
-
k, i dunno how to get a picture up on here and i just had a great idea, could i put a switch in, so i could either use the 4x12 cab, or the 1x12 that's already in the amp!! if some one tells me hoe to get a picture on here i'll show you all!!!
-
yat, cheers, i have a few more Questions that i'll probly post later on (i need a diagram to help explain them!!!)
and answering some questions,
Buy the best speakers you can affordi'm poor and can't afford expencive speakers, i could save up and Buy a marshall mg412!!
Is your Marshall an open back or is it closed? The manual that lovekraft linked to earlier doesn't have pictures of it's back side. Can you see the two wires that are connected to the speaker? Are these wires soldered on are or are they connected with blade connectors?it's open backed, i can see the two wires, and yes, i think they are blade connectors!!!

it think a chatroom would be a really good idea!!!!
-
like to add your own output jack, etc. If you didn't understand the suggestions, please ask specific questions.
so, how do i add my own output jack?!!
(sorry if this has been said before, i am a small brained person and things need to be explained to me in the simpleest way possible!!)
-
so, 1 simple, really basic question, WILL IT WORK?!?!?!?!?
-
i've got my epiphone lp100 or fender strat,
with my marshall mg30 dfx
and an ibanez tubescreamer,
great set up i'd say!!!
-
Your Line/Headphone Out (+4dBV) is not capable of driving an extension cabinet. Your only option is to disconnect the internal speaker leads and run them to your cabinet, and I don't think you'll find any improvement in volume. I've checked the manual, and there's no way around the headphone jack shutting down the internal speaker without rewiring, so unless you buy a power amp and speakers, that output won't help you. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I've spent a lot of money on ideas that wouldn't work, and I always wished afterwards that somebody had told me before I spent it. Good luck.
ah, so that's y when i tried running it straight through a monitor, it was really quiet!!!
-
cheers Rob, if you can get that website for me, you will be god!!!!

I'm not sure that 30 watt combo will move enough air to make a 4-12 cab worthwhile - maybe a single 12 in a Thiele cab would work. You may want to borrow a cab and hook it up to your speaker leads before you spend any money and then find out your amp won't drive the load.
i don't really want to put in 1x12" speaker, becuse the line out stops the speaker inside the amp form making a noise, the only way to get any more power out of it would be to put in 2x12" speakers!!!
-
it sounds to me like the cable you are useing isn't very good, i could be wrong but...
-
so dose any one know any sites to find dirt cheap speakers (prefrably 12" and in the UK )
-
they dont make cabs i meant speakers.
even if they just make speakers, can't i make a cab?!!?
-
it's got a line out, it's a 4ohm combo, will that make a differance to the size of the cab i run it through?!?!
-
UK!!! i'm not looking for nice cabs, just something dirt cheap for gigs!!! and i need to know if it'll work with my marshall mg 30 dfx!
-
would it be possible to build an extention cab for my marshall mg 30 dfx?? if so how much would it cost, and can anyone give me any sites that sell the speakers?!
(i'm only looking to build a 4x12/2x12 cab!!)

it should work, aslong as you buy the right pickguard to match your bridge!
(any of the pick guards in the last picture you sent of the mustangs, (the red white and blue ones (going from left to right))should do the job!!!)
