Hello,
I just restrung an old electric guitar and it seems out of tune in certain spots. How do I tune the guitar so that it's in tune up and down the entire neck?
ie: The guitar may be in tune near the top of the neck, but if you play the same cord further down the neck near the pick-up's it sounds out of tune.
I have a flat telecaster type bridge with screws that pull or push each string forward or backwards.
Thanks, Greg.

Hello,
My friend drop off an old piece of junk black electric guitar last week as a joke but I immediately stripped it, cleaned it, painted it (where needed) waxed it 3 times, cleaned the surface rust off the chrome bridge and installed new tunning pegs.
Needless to say it actually looks pretty good now.
Anyways...my question is this. It had a single humbucker at the bridge which I removed and I am installing a new humbucker (a really hot one) a Kent Armstrong "Ultra Distortion". So, can I just drop in the new humbucker and it will work, or do I need to upgrade the tone and volume pods in the guitar as well? Are all Volume and Tone pods created equal? I know size wise it will fit.
I'm just trying to avoid any disapointments.
Thanks, Greg.
