  1. So the wife was kind enough to purchase an Ibanez RG370 for me. The one and only problem I have with the guitar is a buzzing on the first fret. It happens on all strings to an extent but the high e and b strings seem to be the most affected as the f and c notes just die. From what I've read a nut shim may be in order to fix the problem. I was just wondering what other peoples suggestions are.

    Thanks

  2. I draw pictures. The pictures then get made into water systems, parks, roads, and other such things. I havent had surgery on my knees yet but at the ripe age of 18 I was diagnosed with RA. Dont have much cartilage in my thumbs anmore but it doesnt hurt anymore thanks to genetically engineered drugs that work much better that eating 60mg of prednisone a day for way too long.

I ended up here because I thought since I make my own amps I might as well build a guitar someday to even though I really suck at playing.

  3. I apologize if this has come up before but I couldn't find it searching. I am planning on building my own guitar from scratch and this little problem is bugging the hell out of me. The guitar body is going to be an rg/s470 type of thing with whatever floyd rose I can find for the least ammount of money on ebay. The neck is going to be a wizard neck. Now for the 25.5" scale length I measure from the edge of the locking nut facing the bridge to the bridge. Now this is my question. Would I want all of the saddles in the position closest to the nut or farthest away? Also do I measure from the point the string rests on?

On a side note, what is the length from the point of the nut facing the bridge on a wizard neck to the end of the neck? I have a cad drawing and just kind of added a little to get a length of 493.912mm.

    Thanks,
