hey guys, I finished my first electric guitar this past summer and I am looking forward to making my next one. I want to make a gibson firefird style guitar with a through body neck. For my first guitar i just bought a cheap bolt-on neck off of ebay, but it wasnt very high quality as i've had some problems with the frets. I was wondering if any of you knew a good place to get a decent through-body neck for a decent price.

I like it! Love the shape and the color scheme too. How does it sound?

well i first played it through my little 15 watt crate amp and it sounded pretty good.

then i played it through my friends peavey classic 50 and it sounded amazing.

i had an oppritunity to get some free red oak, so i was wondering if itd b worth it

hey, i just wondering if red oak would work as a guitar body?

and if so, would it even sound any good?

my friend and I are building two guitars together and we have a question.

Is it possible to fit 5/16 tuners into a 11/32 hole on the headstock?

we are wondering if it can be done and how to do it.
