  1. Thanks for the link. I sent him an email. Wonder how long it takes for him to respond?
  2. Does anyone know what gear Mick Ralphs used when he was with Bad Company. Other than the obvious Les Paul and Marshall amps what effects did he use to get his sound. I am in the process of learning some Bad Co songs and want the sound to be right. I know he had a fuzz of some type because on the song "Burnin Sky" he uses it on the solo. Other than that I haven't a clue. Thanks Keith

  4. cool. I didnt know if the number of conductors would make a difference. But when it comes down to it you end up with only a ground and a hot wire..........Hmmmmmm.... Thanks for the info. Keith
  5. I just want 1. Neck 2. Neck & Bridge 3. Bridge no splitting. I guess basically a Les Paul type setup. The only deal is my neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan '59 single conductor and my bridge is a SH12 four conductor.
  6. Oh..........the setup will also include one volume & one tone control.
  7. How do I wire a single conductor pickup in the neck and a four conductor pickup in the bridge position with a 3way switch? Seymour Duncans site doesnt show a schematic for this combination. Thanks in advance, Keith

  15. Derek, Not too familiar with locking nuts. What do you mean #6 , 7 and 9 locking nuts? Sorry for sounding dumb. Keith
  16. Can a locking nut be installed on a Strat neck with the "bullet" truss rod? The "bullet" looks a bit large to rout for a locking nut. If this can be done could someone give me a "tutorial" ? Thanks, Keith P.S. Is the pivot post distance the same on all Floyd and licensed Floyd trems?
  17. Awesome Job!!!! Would love to see a tutorial with pictures. or at least some drawings. Keith
  18. I have always used toothpicks & wood glue with no problem. Keith
  19. What happens if you finish Ash without first using grain filler? If it is going to be painted a solid color, is it really needed? Thanks, Keith
  20. I am planning on doing a flamed maple veneer on my guitar. I also plan on binding the guitar around the top. If I veneer the guitar first, will it split when I rout the edge of the guitar for binding? I thought of cutting the binding channel first and then doing the veneer. Does anyone have any experience with this ? If so......HELP!!!! Keith
  21. This is a really dumb question. Is there any difference between a left and a right handed guitar neck other than the headstock direction? I know the nut with be "backwards" but it would be replaced with a locking nut anyway. I guess what I'm asking is can a left handed neck be installed on a right handed guitar? Thanks, Keith
  22. Awesome job!!!!!! The headstock inlay is awesome as well!
