How warm should I get it and what tools do I use to separate It.
Thank Yall for the info...

What is the best procedure in heating up the wood for separation? The back is made of walnut, should I just scrap the back and do another? The glue is about 6-8 Months set.
Thanks for your info.

Being the amature I am and this my first build I have made a big mistake and was wondering if there is any posible solutions? When I braced the back on my acoustic build I braced it on a flat surface and therefore it was flat. I have already glued it to the body of the guitar. Is there any way to get the back off and rebrace it right without tearing it all up. I can live with it flat, but I have really put alot of work into this build and if there is any way to correct this I want to. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I applied the braces to the back and there is not much arch in the back at all. I have already glued it to the sides. With it not being arched very much affect the sound quit a bit?
Need answers please!
Thanks

This is a guitar I've been playing around with in my head for quite some time. The soundbox will be made out of Walnut and binded with a little Arkansas Cypress. I don't have any pics from the begining of the build while I was bending, but I just used made a heat lamp style you see over the net. The sound board will be Sitka Spruce with a mahogony neck. I will update this page as I progress.

I am building my first guitar (a Concert style acoustic) and was wondering if I went with a stock dreadnought neck or should I cut and shape one. What sizes work best and also about fret distance, which is best to use. I don't want to have a huge neck on a smaller bodied guitar.
Sugestions anyone?

No these are not for fake branding, like I said in the first part of the post. I am a graphic designer and use these logo's for other things. The majority of these I created myself and I saw some logos in the post about what was offered and knew that I had these and didn't figure that I would be labled as a fake brander!!!!

I donated a slew of Guitar Logos both original that I worked up and also what I have collected over the years. This has been weeks ago, December 1st to be exact, and still haven't received my badge. I understand that this was not a money donation but I am a Graphic Designer and spent several hours on some of these and would hate to not get credit for them.
Thanks
Help With Custom Vinyl Logo On Peghead.

Can I put my custom logo on my peghead and then apply the finishing of the guitar, or will the chemicals screw with the vinyl?
I would appreciate any feedback on this...
