  1. Thanks for the plans! All the parts cost under 12.00!

    I had a problem keeping the fret tang from turning (diagonally) to the side, almost bending the wire into a spiral, because the middle fender washer I was using was too thick. So I just replaced it with the thinnest washer i could find to keep the tang straight up. Everything turns and bends perfect now! thanks!

  2. IM TRYING TO REPLACE THE BRASS TRUSSROD NUT ON MY 1950`s KAY ARCHTOP. THE OLD ONE STRIPPED PRETTY EASY AND IM NOT SURE OF THE SIZE AND IF I NEED TO REPLACE IT WITH BRASS OR NOT. I ALREADY STRIPPED SOME OF THE THREADS ON THE TRUSSROD TRYING TO REPLACE IT WITH WHAT I THOUGHT WAS THE RIGHT SIZE........ 10 32?

    Yea, i thought it was a good idea, so i bought one on Ebay. I just couldnt get the picture I took of mine attached to my post so I added a link.

    I was just wondering if there was something I wasnt seeing before i used it on my frets.

    Im new to the site and ive been just reading till now.

    COSTO is just short for COSTANTINO (incase your writing a book).
