  1. hi,

im building an explorer now and i am a big noob!

    i have a few questions:

lol, yer anyway my explorer shall have a tuno-matic and stop tailpiece. i have seen guitars with angled tunomatics and non-angled ones. the plans i have got(cad drawing from guitarbuild.com) show the tunomatic on an angle? can anyone please help me with this?

also wen routing for a tunomatic and tailpeice do i only have to drill the four holes for them to screw into the body or what?

    help is greatly appreciated!

  2. im building an explorer. i have downloaded the 'explorer13_pub.dwg' CAD file from www.guitarbuild.com

i had someone dimension it for me, and i have printed it to real size. now i just need to know if my dimensions are correct.

ok bassicly: The length from point to point= 613.808mm

    The height= 450.9012mm

if these are correct i can assume the others are correct.

    Thanks in advance

  3. You can put all the dimensions on in CAD. Right click on the function buttons somewhere, select "Dimension" and then.....put dimensions on it.

Alternatively, if you can't do it, reply to this with your e-mail address, tell me what dimensions you want and I'll download the drawing and dimension it up for ya. What else am I going to do, work? :D

    hey thanks

download the explorer13_pub.dwg file which is the basic gibbo explorer and can u dimension it to normal size please.

    my email is tpember@bigpond.com

    sick mate!
