when they didnt have the guitar last time i went about a week or 2 weeks ago, and it was in the window but its an inside mall shop......... and s their anyway to whiten the guitar?

  4. Hey all,

well the guitar i would like to buy next is a zakk wylde epiphone les paul and the zakk wylde emg pickup set simply because the gibson version cost's way too much.......... anyway i went into a guitar shop near me recent;y and saw the zakk wylde epiphone les paul and it allot more 'yellowy cream' than i thought, but then i remember seeing other picturesof it where it looks completely white.... why is this? are their 2 versions? i would really like a white bullseye zw eppy rather than a cream bullseye......... can someone clear this up for me?

here's zakk with a white bullseye looking eppy! ( which i want )

  5. hey all,

erm..... i just wanna know if i cant print cad drawings off on a regular a4 printer to stick together, ive tried but the guitar's always been way to big or too small..... im really wanting to get the shape of an sg printed out....... i have a cad drawing of it but as i sed it prints out too big/small....... is their anyway of printing to the right scale?

p.s i really wud like a sg body template asap!

  6. I also have SG plans in CAD format in the advanced section on this forum. If you can't reach it please email me.

You could use voloview to view CAD files and print them. I think you can download the program from the internet.

My Sg is drawn 1:1 scale in mm. So if you open it in voloview or another program that supports dwg or dxf files, you can directly print it out. You must have an A3 printer or you can go to your local repro or printing/copy shop for bigger sizes.

    :D

does it have to be an a3 printer? cant i just print on a4 then stick them together?

  7. you can find plans for an sg in www.guitarbuild.com

i dunno if they are well drawn cos i cannot view them, but at least they are listed

    bye

hey, ok i got those and i viewed them...... what do i do with cad drawrings do i print them out? do they print full size or sumthing? i had a look at printing them but it said print all 100 pages... that cant be right can it?...

  8. Hey all,

i would just like to know either for a start what guitar i could get that would go with my 'experimental' style music as i call it.. which is basically random stuff........ i like to lower the whammy bar as far as possible, take it as high as possible etc etc..... i was just wondering what guitar i could get that would suit that? and not go out of tune pretty much never even with all the sissy stick diving etc...... or what parts would you suggest i get to add to my strat? or even stuff to build my own guitar? thanks in advance.
