What steps should i take if i just want to sand it down to the wood and then do polishy finish on the wood?

No, I don't have the piece that busted off the headstock :-/

and also, what would you recomend I use to to polish the guitar to give it a healthy glow lol

Hey, one of my friends sent me this guitar and I was wondering how I could go about fixing the headstock and removing the rust and the sticker on the back.

Hey everyone, so after months of deciding I'm going to get this guitar and I am going to "go to town" on it.

Okay heres a list of what I want to do, can someone give some advice on which would be easier and which I shouldn't even attempt?

I want to:

1) change the logo to my own custom logo

2) change the pickups

3) scallop the entire neck

4) change the inlays on the neck*

*Am I better off just buying another neck and starting fresh on that one?

so wait, what if I don't want to refinish and I just want to switch the knobs and pickups and stuff, would it be worth it?

I have never done any refinishing, I was planning on bringing it to a shop or something.

hm... I am thinking of just going with a carvin bolt design then with 22 frets, doesn't seem like it's worth it that much to get the extra 2 :-/

Well I want it to be a white strat, basically a copy of the Carvin Bolt but with 24 frets and I want to put 3 custom pickups into it (Dimarzio Hs-3,YJM,Chopper)

Hey guys, would some one be able to help me set-up my new guitar?

I am thinking of making a 24 fret strat with all custom knobs but I don't know if this neck can fit into the body and whatnot.
