I made one. (It's actually really easy)
Then I needed to get the guitar primed again. So I took it to my local garage, and he primed it. But when I went to see it, he said "Errrr, there's been a reaction......"
Oh. That's not right. But......
actualy it looks quite well

I had 3 guitars that color in the 80's. So officially I am old as now it is back in style 20 years later.
I cant even say that the color was my idea!! Megan came up to my shop one day and was looking it over and she said (You know babe I think you really need to paint this guitar Nuck Green) and I looked at and it just worked, what a great idea

ok... here i go
after reading infos and this forum, buying and reading hiscock's book i finaly started my first project
here are the specs(tried to stay on low budget)
ash body(mockingbird shape)
maple neck
oak fretboard(i think it will be good as fretboard)
24 3/4" scale
tune-o-matic bridge
3+3 tuners
ibanez inf3 and inf4 pickups(got it from friend)
thinking of transparent red colour
not decided about bolt on or set neck
and here are some starting pics of body in progress
ash body with drawed on countours
at the moment i'm carving the horns and body itself, hope to update wihtout pauses, but we'll see
-
i use corel draw and autocad corer for capturing scanned images or raster images from web and autocad for scaling
i think thats the best way
talking about guitar, i hope to see progress wery soon
