Hello, My son has been bugging me to build a Hendrix guitar .So I did along wiyh the Frankenstein....I'am still waiting on parts. The neck on the Hendrix is just a loner.
Hello, I'am looking for info about this bass. All it says on the headstock is Jay Turser. The most important info I need is the colours name or paint code. The closest colour I've seen is called Sonic Blue. . How old it is ,The model name would be useful to.
Hello, Yes I've got a few ideas. One being the one in the pic with strings through the body. Another is making one from metal then have it gold plated with a rosewood insert. It needs something large in that area. A tunomatic tailstop won't do.
That cut out is just a rough cut . My son did a test and I needed to remove about a 1/4 ". Yes they banjo tuners with a 4:1 turning ratio. I haven't strung it up yet but they should work fine.If not I'll buy some Steinbergers.
Hello, Did you guys miss my build. When I'am done the scroll roller won't be sticking out so much..I'll post a updated pic tomorrow. I added some more hardware to it.
Hi,The guitar is hanging on the wall with a black sheet behind it. The necks are identical. If you are talking about the necks being round or squared off around the headstock its because the fabric is around the bracket holding it up .As for a doubleneck with two 6 strings , I've seen lots .I've seen them with a baritone setup with tremolos..... . Wouldn't it be a musician preference.Besides the 12 string neck is not finished yet. I just finished with what I had.Thanks.
Hey jmrentis, I all ready had that idea, but for a 10 neck . Since my son plays left the other player in his band is right-handed it would work. Here's a pic I did months ago.
I've got a couple of ideas.Have a coupler at the waist .That way it can be swung into different positions. The other would be maybe a couple of small mag wheels attached to the bottom.
