I contacted him yesterday. It's apparently a joke between him and his friends
-
...it also looks reeeeaaaally heavy...

For anyone in the UK, there's a review of that guitar in next months "guitar buyer". I agree, it looks terrible but I can't help but the respect the work that's gone into it

They sell 'em on surfin monkey (formally flying pig?), but they don't have that model...
-
Sure I read you can't surcharge for Paypl any more?
Ah yes, there is a policy against paypal fees carrying to the buyer. I contacted eBay and they said because I listed the item before the policy was enforced, I'm ok to keep it as it is.
I'm glad to see it's being stamped on though

Argh that's annoying. It's a pity postage is not regulated more strictly.
Looks like the scammers are trying to get their mitts on my guitar too:
Question from eBay Member: Gibson Les Paul Standard (3727962161)
Dear jonnylaney,
My name is Viona from Medan, North Sumatra. Exactly in Indonesia. I'm very interest to buy your item . Can you ship to Indonesia? If you can do that, I would like to make a purchase to your item. My offer is GBP 2,700.00 + shipping cost. The payment method is using credit card. And I want my credit card charge directly by Credit Card merchant. The shipping by TNT Courier Wolrdwide. And therefore let me pay for all the shipping cost. Mail me back

Thank you,

Really? I didn't know that. Everyone still seems to be doing it and there's nothing in the help files about it.
I despise people who charge 4% for using paypal, but I can't pay the whole lot for a high priced item.

Don't forget Kurt Cobains effort too...

I dunno about EMGs, EMG and Twangy don't really fit well...
maybe Rio Grandes, I've heard good things.
That's not true. Try a set of the EMG tele replacements. They're superb.

Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows if there's room for emg gubbins in a standard tele routed body. Would a battery fit under the control plate after the pots and switch are attached?
Cheers,
Jonathan

Where abouts do you live?
I have a seymour duncan, duncan custom in white I might be willing to swap. Let me look up the specs of your pickup...

Gibson Les Paul Standard, 2002 model, Desert Burst, the tastiest of the LP finishes from that year in my opinion. Mint condition except for a couple of the usual very shallow scratches on the back, easily buffed out if you're not a total girl like me.
I'm probably only shipping to the UK. Offers around £1000 for quick sale. I need to generate some cash to buy some gigging gear, and it's last in, first out for my collection I'm afraid.

Hi all,
What are the options when it comes to applying a decal to a headstock? I dont want to inlay, just put a printed design on. Are there printer paper kits available or something like that?
Cheers,
Jonathan

I've got a jackhammer too.
I agree, the OD is great, but the distortion is very non-distinct.
The price is amazing, too.

I just graduated last year from Leicester Uni, and now I work in Leicester Royal Infirmary.
Isn't it a small world?

Im Welsh, but I'm living in Leicester at the moment.
My sister lives in Coventry hotrock.
I found the problem but how should I do this?

You just need a multimeter to measure resistance:
For 2 conductor, just touch pos-neg probes to the wires; either way, it's only a great big long wire so polarity doesn't matter.
For 4 conductor, touch pos-neg probes to the in and out wires for each coil, and addthe answers together...
