I'll comment on your guitar in a minute, it made me hungry and I'm gonna go grab something to eat.

With the double action TRs, just rout the channel, no need to attach it at either end. CF bars should go in their own channel alongside the TR. I don't think you would need two, one should do it.

Sweet! Recessed TOM- my favorite. Nice burst as well.
-
The fretwork on mine was so horrible I defretted it- and when I put it all together the truss rod adjustment nut spun like a mother and never straightened a bit.
-
If you're doing a bolt-on, I would say the headstock end.
and you could stick a CF bar along the rest of the length without the truss rod for some extra strength.
-
If it's your first neck, I might do the Hot Rod, it's much easier to work with and rout and all that jazz.
And the rest of it looks good, and if you did wanna do a 24" scale, I'm guessing you'd be able to intonate .07".

Who says it wouldn't cut the pearl?
And you could probably barely squeeze a body in there...
-
You could do basswood and a bunch of neck laminates.

Wow. That wood is all so amazing. Nice work.
-
It looks very new old-school, if that makes sense. Very classy. Other than the little line in the veneer, it looks great.
-
Yes! Woohoo! I'd definitely wait 8 months for that paint job.
-
What you could do would be fretted up to the maple and then make sure it's the right height so it's fretless up to the bridge.
-
Nice job! The body shape is pretty neat. That wood for the neck has the most amazing flame.

I've seen the eleven string bass somewhere, and all that the guy could do on it was tapping. I agree, it sounds fretted- none of those smooth glissandos that fretlesses are known for- and the slap doesn't sound fretless. And it's ugly. And I agree, horribly unbalanced. It sounds too...controlled for a fretless.
-
I usually go with chrome, but black looks amazing with lighter-colored woods and white.
-
I voted for Lee's. While the LP was good, it was just too plain for me- nothing really caught my eye. The '54 was also really good, it was definitely close. But the bass was just that little bit better.

Not wild on the body shape, but great work. And yay for skinny guitars!

Ash and swamp ash are completely different woods.
And I've seen a couple dinkys made out of ash.
-
Wow. Sounds fantastic. And fantastically expensive.
-
StewMac seems to do it's preslotted pre-radiused boards correctly- the one I've used was radiused correctly and slotted plenty deep for their fretwire.
-
Me likes.

I love fretless guitars. I got a saga kit just to see what they were like and was getting the frets playable and went 'screw this' and defretted it. I can't stop playing it now. And it doesn't take a whole lot of practice to get the hang of it. It's lots of fun.

Nice, I wish I had a laser cutter when I did my flame inlay top.
I still think that looks great.
And now I wish I had a CNC.

It looks great! I love the aged hardware, might have to try that out some time. I like the subtle carve, it does look much better. And I love that top.
