Nice design !! This guitar could be for The Jetsons !
I think that with this thought I reveal my age...

Hello, interesting design, congratulations !!
I noticed that you have 23 frets but have enought place for 24, Is there any reason (other than your taste) to not have a complete 2 octaves ?
Keep the good work.

Hello, I wasn´t at Project Guitar for about 10 years... I´m very happy to show that the quality of the guitars are superlative as usual !!
This single cut is really beautiful, congratulations for your work.

I'm just pondering this idea at the moment for a 2x12 cab with a switch to turn it into 2 1x12 speakers. But i'm struggling on how to wire that upto a switch or if its even possible?
Yes, it´s possible. You can convert a mono 2x12 cab into a stereo 12" cab (2 1x12). But remember that the impedance of the mono cab will be different than the stereo one ! For example : if you have two 16 ohms speakers connected in parallel in the 2x12 mono cab you have an impedance of 8 ohms, if you convert this cab into a stereo one you will have an impedance of 16 ohms in each channel of this cab. You have to check this in order to avoid problems with the amp or amps that you will use with this new configuration.

Good idea Pete !

This is a fantastic guitar ! I love her ! The headstock is beautiful but you need a logo for it !
Congratulations !

Congratulations Killemall, she´s really beautiful.

Blue for me.

Perfect work ! But I´m scared, is not fragile ?
-
Yes, you read it right - white oak. I might be ebonizing it, I might not. It's not like oak isn't hard and durable enough for a fretboard, so why not.
I´m not sure but Brian May didn´t use oak in his guitar ? He ebonized his fingerboard but are you sure that you will do that ?
This oak looks nice in natural.

Simply beautiful John, keep the good work.

You can put black vinyl in the top area leaving the sides with the original colour. You can test and if you don´t like it, simply remove the vinyl.

Fantastic job John, thanks to share it with us.

Very nice rework Luis ! You take risks ! But the new look is beautiful !

I actually just saw a reference to this project at the http://www.diystompboxes.com forum, where I am also a member.
I must say, this is one cool project. I like the concept and the execution of it. And the handiwork is excellent in all regards, as well as the innovative built from scratch ideas. And I think the double layered case is also a brilliant idea.
Bravo!
Thank you Paul, I appreciate your words.
And appreciate your work also, two years ago I made a Firefly amp using your chassis layout. It´s a great amp !

Very simple and elegant design ! Congrats !

If you think it needs a custom case, feel free to get sewing!
Wait, wait, wait ! It was only a thought...

Good work John ! The colours work for me, it looks really nice for a travel guitar. Which are its final dimentions ?
I think that it needs a custom case !
Corvus, corvus, corvus

A decent color? That's ugly as hell (no offense John). It needs a super bright orange and a royal blue neck or a similar blue, that would be awesome.
Why not gold ?

Not a bad design for a headless... and you will solve the balance problems... Just my 2 cents.

My first (and only) one, called Little Rocker. She is a travel guitar with custom headpiece and tuner, build in SansAmp GT2 and custom case :
Here she is with my Line6 amp and diy custom cab :

This guitar is BEAUTIFUL !!! But please change the trussroad cover and the control cover for covers made using wood, just my 2 cents...

Good work ! Have you decided the finish of the guitar ?
She'll be in natural wood of painted ?
I think that she'll look very good painted in a two colours scheme.
