  1. yes i know how to turn it on and off. but i had the same problem with my crybaby. but that actually broke later on. but this is BRAND new. And i tried teh exact wah that i bought at the store and it worked brilliantly. you just put the toe down and click it from bypass to wah mode. but somethings wrong in this case

  2. i was kidding you, i dont know if your thinking correctly. "bursting" is usually a technique done with paint i believe you stain to achieve that god lyke finish wes has. That is a nice finish thats commonly used i didnt mean to get you nervous. BTW wes how did you make that jack? thats sweet!

  3. nice git my man! i just dont see why people dont use the deep tenon necks. LGM schooled me when i talked to him about it, however i think that it allows easy acess to the top frets, maybe not that huge of a sound difference but as for playablity i'm sure te neck would feel more stable and would be easier to play.

  4. why you SOB thats how i was going to finish my JEM! AHHHH I SEVERERLY DISLIKE YOU!

As for you question, I'm not quite sure what your thinking. A solid blue edge would indicate paint and a translusent center would indicate dye or stain. My recommendation is to check out the stains available at stew mac. And check out teh carriburst threads in solid body/ chat. I do not think that coating edges wit white then blue will do it.

  5. i'm talking about 4 minutes total. pen heats up. personally i reccomend putting the soldering iron on the joint for about a minute to heat up both joints so you dont get a bitchy cold joint. then i put a SMALL amount of solder on the iron, let it tin and run down the iron until it gets to the joint. then once i see its attached the two i use a little more and a little more. this to me is the best way to avoid excess solder on your joints which can lead to some serious issues down the line. I.E bumping into something else can fry maybe not in a POT or a pedal but in the computer world 2 misconnected circuits screw the part. i've soldered many pots in my day and i'd have to say this is the WAY to go. Especially with teh grouning sleeve. if you mess up your grounding you're also screwed. the pot might not work, but if it does and one littlle bit of electromagnetic shock comes off your p/us you probably totally burned a potentiometer out. same with any other part on a guitar

  6. big muff is like a fuzzy esque thing. but hot tubes. UNBELIEVEABLE. absolutly amazing o/d. there may be better ones out there from some small company but this is a great mainstream. it has a warm warm warm sitting by the couch sound so that the sound is "real" like you can stroke it and have wild sex with it. and it plays like no other overdrive in my opinion. Big Muff i'm not such a fan of. It may be analog but there are much better fuzz's out there. save yer money and get the hot tubes, you wont be disapointed, it OWNS teh blues, fusion WOW, instrumental vai style? i wouldnt know i'm not good enough lol. Metal, Hell yes, with complete articulation, none of that crap where you fuzz over everything and you cant hear the notes. Rock is its best point. I just can't believe what a good rock tone it has. Through an all tube fender amp, or marshall stack its a total love box. you should get it for a pedal. you will have no regrets. i wish i had one. i only play it at my freinds house.
