That "Yngwie Malmsteen" strat has a worn board. That shouldn't happen if it's scalloped.

I think Family Guy is the funniest of the three. I like Beavis and Butthead.
I've seen every Simpsons at least twice. I think they started going downhill long before episode 300. I think it was around the time Conan O'Brian left the show. They just aren't as funny anymore.

Hey freshie!

To me, trying to hot-rod a Squier® seems like polishing a turd.

I've got some right in front of mye right now! nice
Chris
Except the pots on my guitar have a 3/32 shaft. (They're the small style archtop pots.) I bet those are larger and won't center properly.
Plus I can probably make a set for well under $5. Why pay $12?

Out of curiosity...I always thought of experimenting with dice or something like that as knobs....any thoughts on that?
I plan to do just that.
I have an early fifties grestch(sp?) Syncromatic. It's an ass kicking archtop. The only problem is that it is supposed to have master volume and master tone knobs but I only have the tone knob.
The knob on the volume I have know is an aluminum one I made. It's about as attractive as a hat full of buttholes; nowhere near as cool as the gold plated knurled tone knob.
I'm gonna make 2 dice knobs.
Should I make 7 or 11 show?

For all you electrical engineers out there, the guy that invented the Variax was featured in the IEEE magazine a few months back.

As I said in the headband thread
Pirates go out to sea with no chicks. When they get back, they have no need for them.
Wasn't there a james bond movie where ninjas had rifles with special rocket bullets that completely kicked the asses of guys carrying assalt rifles? Ninjas can pack heat too.
So is snork named after a video game character?
-
I say ninja.
When I refer to ninjas though, Sam Fisher and Solid Snake are included.

Thanks Kevan, I would appreciate that.
I need a new iron because I ruined my old one. This one looks like a winner.

Shoot, I'd love to be stranded on an island with my woman!
Stock up on food and supplies and off we go. Screw society!
Why would you want to screw society? You're on a desert island with a chick why not...

buddy king (blues player) quite famously plays a flying v...its not just a rock axe
Do you mean Albert King?
-
Wouldn't it be worth more than not haveing the parts on at all? You could always remove them again if need be.
Do you think this merchandise is hot?
-
Oh yeah...
pirate-->ponytail
ninja-->ninja headband
I think that settles it.
-
pirates fight on the open sea, if their ship was shot down they'd all die... for a wimpy ninja that would be "too risky"...
I think solid snake, the modern ninja, would disagree. the ship he was on exploded and he lived.
Besides, pirates at sea with no chicks
What good could come of it?
-
Kevan,
Can you hold this closer to the tip than a traditional soldering iron? I always grab the steel portion of my soldering iron like a pencil and get burnt.
Is this thing closer to a pencil soldering iron or a weller soldering gun?

Schaller strap locks and homemde leather straps for me
Cool! I never thought of making a strap before.
Whenever I go strap shopping I go right past the designer straps and head for the plain vanilla nylon straps with leather ends. I think my favorite is Fort Brian or something like that. It has really thick ends.
I use dunlop straploks.

How is someone who wears a stupid puffy shirt and carries a crappy sword cooler than someone who wears a headband and carries a katana?
-
if you're an orthodox christian, jew, or catholic...
...if you're just a normal dude like me
No, it doesn't cover the top of my head. Yes, I am a "normal dude."

I've only seen two posts by Little Bit today, both of which said they were pulled by author.
Maybe he's trying to up his post count.
-
Never mind. That stuff is too expensive.

Could be worthwhile as a replacement for 'regular' decals on a headstock... somewhere in between a real inlay and a decal inlay, no?
That's where I'd find it useful anyhow.
Greg.
That's how I was thinking of using it. I would put it under the finish.
Does it look nice enough for that?
Racing stripes!

There's a guy on ebay that sells sticker stripes for this purpose. The photos look okay from the front but the back is sloppy. You might want to check those out.
