Paul Marossy Posted November 24, 2004 Report Share Posted November 24, 2004 OK, so I have an unfinished maple neck that I am going to do a tung oil finish on. So here is my questions: 1. I have read that clear finishes won't work over a tung oil finish because they peel off, etc. Is that true of polyurethane as well? 2. Will a headstock decal work on a tung oil finish?
