Kevan Posted December 2, 2004 Report Share Posted December 2, 2004 Well, StewMac has two different types of truss rods: - Traditional - HotRod The Traditional is a very basic truss rod that can be cut to your desired length. The HotRod offers a couple of different options for adjustment heads (for a Tele, I'd go with the slotted head or the 1/8" head). Then you can choose the length you need. It's your call.
