Pekollio
Hiya Folks, A buddy of mine just showed me the paint chip catalog/book for House of Kolor and I was blown away. Although this stuff is expensive, has anyone here used it for a guitar/bass finish? Thanks for the time, Pekollio Edited December 23, 2004 by Pekollio
AlGeeEater
Although i havent personally, chopper greats such as Arlen Ness have used it on his bikes and Billy Lane just to name a few. It is a SUPER looking paint and i love it. It buffs VERY well and shines nice. Check out some of their bikes, the paint is awesome.
Devon Headen
I think that's what Jeremy (LGM) uses. And you know how incredible his finishes are!
SprocketBoy
You can get some House of kolor airbrush kits (assorted colors, tape, ect.) for a good price, check out Air Bear and Dixie Art websights. It may not be enough to do a guitar i think the kits have 4oz bottles of the kolor......check it out, it might be worth it.
LGM Guitars
HOK is great stuff, but like all Urethanes VERY deadly, you MUST use a forced air respirator with the clears and a good carbon filter mask for the base. It is expensive, but it's great. However, I really don't think it's any better than RM Diamont or PPG. They just have some really different colors and pearls and such out there.
