Disputoman
Is there a way to calculate a fretboard's radius? I looked at Don MacRostie's "Cone Head" formula, to find the radius at any given point on the board, but that doesn't apply to me because you must already know the radius at the nut in order to determine the radius at other points on the board. Any help is greatly appreciated.
unclej
go to stewart mcdonald's website and look at their radius gauges..two plexiglass plates with four radii on each..they're cheap..place it on your pretboard until you find the one that fits.. that's all i've got
Southpa
Ah, finally found it! Here is something that Brian passed on to me over a year ago. Just print them out, cut with scissors and you can match up the closest radius.
