Mickguard Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 I'm looking at a photo of a couple of 50s Les Paul with a 3/4 neck...looks like the frets are normal size, it's just the the neck attaches to the body at the 14th fret. So what's the point of a shorter neck like that? Just curious! Quote
thedoctor Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 Fun!! You could argue that it saves wear and tear on your elbow but....no, lets not go there. I don't really like playing one but they are kinda cool. Strings are usually at a lower tension and the "grippers" like that. Quote
