LGM Guitars Posted July 15, 2003 Report Share Posted July 15, 2003 you'll probably just kill the pickguard with laquer, the solvent in laquer will attack the celluloid that they make the guard out of, once it fully cures it will probably just flake off too leaving a rather unpleasant looking piece of plastic underneath.
