Hughes Posted July 5, 2005 Author Report Posted July 5, 2005 thanks, would you by any chance know how to determine the value/age by using the model number? which is K588 Quote
Southpa Posted July 5, 2005 Report Posted July 5, 2005 (edited) Sorry, they stamped out quite a few in the early days and I don't know a lot about them myself. A friend has a Harmony Monterey that was constructed along the same lines as the Kay brand thats about as close as I've been to one. but here is another resource for ya, . Its always fun to see where the trail leads. http://www.guitarsite.com/database/Guitars/rec/6753/ Edited July 5, 2005 by Southpa Quote
unclej Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 i've got a nice collection of silvertone acoustics which are very much like the kays in look and value..most from the 60's. they don't have a great deal of collector's value so they aren't worth a lot. i don't think i've given more that $75 for any of them but they're cool so just play them and enjoy them.
