marksound
Reading some stuff lately (idch's neck shim, dkw's fretwire bridge, r**k**n's "sterling silver" nut) has got me wondering. Has anyone heard of or made a guitar with the nut, frets, and bridge saddles all of the same material? It makes sense to me that you'd want the nut to be made of the same stuff as the frets (eliminating a zero fret--let's not start that again). And as long as you're doing that, the bridge saddles could be the same, too. Yes? No? I don't know. What do you think?
