mailman
Okay, after I get my planned guitar done and sent to me, my understanding is that it will be completely unfinished whats the next step i need to take before i take it to the paint/airbrush place? Mattia
Sand carefully to at least 220 (with the grain), maybe even 320. The tiniest scratch and imperfection will show, otherwise. Personally, I'd be tempted to wipe or spray a sanding sealer on there (shellac's my poison of choice), because it's amazing how quickly freshly sanded wood surfaces can get nasty, but talk to whoever's doing the spraying. mailman
well i doubt whooever paints this thing will have any idea about guitars thats why i wanna know if i should spend the money and bring it to another luthier to prep it before bringing it to the paint shop
