exhaust_49 Posted October 28, 2005 Report Share Posted October 28, 2005 I plan to build a les paul with a black limba back, black limba neck, brazillian rosewood fretboard and a flame maple cap. Would the maple cap make the guitar too bright with the use of limba? Would brw be a good coice for fretboard wood? Im also thinking of hollowing the guitar. What would that do to the sound? I have built guitars before but haven't worked with limba so am unsure. Any and all responces are much appericated as I need multiple opinions by some of the tonewood gurus on this forum.
