Atomik
I want to strip the paint and make some adjustments on the neck of my guitar, and what I wanted to know is if there's any problem about removing it? Will I need some special cares after I screw it back? What do you advice to finish the neck? I like the smooth feeling of my other guitar, an Ibañes S270... Don't want to use lacquer... Any help will be appreciated! Thanks in advanced...
Duff Beer Man
if u dont have to equipment to put a finish back on the neck, then dont take it off. To spray lacquer or just clearcoat u need an automotive gun and proper air equipment. I would leave it be, unless u either want a raw neck, or have the proper equpitment nessacary to put the finish back on.
Setch
Ummm, he could use a wipe on finish, or rattlecans. A bolt on neck is the easiest part of a guitar to refinish - you absoultely *do not* need a spray rig to do it!
Atomik
I do have the necessary equipment to spray it, but I would rather just finish it with some oil... I wanted to know if it has any effect on the sound, and set-up of the guitar??
