Hoser Rob Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 It's possible to shave the neck down so it's thinner from front to back but it wouldn't be easy. If you have a bunch of guitars and you've shaped necks before it may be worth a try. It'd have to be refinished too. There's a limit to how much thinner you can make a neck, depending on the depth of the truss rod slot. If you remove too much the truss rod won't work anymore. Quote
