1guitarslinger
Any opinions/observations on the differnces in tone and sustain between ebony and rosewood bridge bases for tuneomatics on electric arch tops? Thanks.
soapbarstrat
With pieces of that size, you're no more likely "to find" a difference of tone/sustain between a piece of rosewood and ebony, than you would between two pieces of rosewood or two pieces of ebony. The main difference is looks, and the ebony might be more prone to crack.
fryovanni
It will not make as much of a differance as say an acoustic bridge. It is electric, you have a TOM mounted on it and the top(although playing a role) is not the primary sound producer. Mainly looks as mentioned above.
