theitalianrob Posted April 30, 2006 Report Share Posted April 30, 2006 I started this project a wile ago and i nearly done, The electronics arent done yet but i mounted everything so you all could see how it looks. SPECS: AXS Jazz bass neck - Birdseye maple - 20 Frets Retro Jazz bass body, custom, Dated to early 60's. Wood type unknown but it is quite heavy. Pickups : Bridge - EMG- Selects HB , Neck: Not quite sure but it looks like a univox. skibum5545 Posted April 30, 2006 Report Share Posted April 30, 2006 IIRC, the EMG-85 and the EMG 35DC (a bass pickup) are almost identical, save for the shape of the box they're in.
