jonno_bucks_89 Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 Hi My guitar body has already been stripped and now has a clear satin finish of some sort on it. So starting from there what do i do? Spraying with a can sounds best? What are the steps involved and materials needed to respray a guitar. Lol im a beginner Sorry Thanks Quote
Doeringer Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 The world is your oyster... Welcome to PG. first peruse the tutorial section, you should be able to answer many questions and learn a lot there, then come back with a more specific question. Your questions are a bit too general to answer. Quote
xDrugFreeJonnyx Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 Okay man, here's my input i tried spraying some finishes on a project strat guitar with spray paint and rub on wood finishes. The wood finishes turned out better and the spray paint took FOREVER to dry completely... it can take up to weeks for spray paint to settle in completely on wood. So if you can check out stew-mac i think they got some rub on color finishes that would do good for you, then again im a noob too so my info might not be the best to listen to Quote
