erikbojerik
OK, some of the first offcuts from the big Bubinga slab I got a couple of months ago. Click Here Quilted (also called "waterfall") Bubinga is no more than a few% of the harvested trees, and the white sapwood is maybe 1% of the log. So this stuff is pretty rare. I had hoped to get one all-white top out of this, but no....the dimensions allow only fretboard-sized stuff. I can get maybe 6-7 white fretboards, the first 3 are here. PG folks get the first shot at these; after this week, the audience will be wider. PayPal or money order in US$ required, buyer to pay actual shipping costs. Fretboard A $30 - 24-5/8" x 3" x 0.175" - being on the thin side, the best bet here is to radius your neck blank and then glue the board down with proper cauls. erikbojerik
Fretboard B $40 - 27" x 3-7/16" x 0.225" This one is wide enough for a 6-string bass, and long enough for 24 frets on a scale length as long as 35". There is a little bit of the red heartwood showing along one edge. Show Face Back Side
erikbojerik
Fretboard C $35 - 21" x 3-1/16" x 0.285" Some heartwood showing here too, but it is more brown than red. Show Face Back Side
