fyb
Hey all . . . I'm repainting & ravamping my MIM strat and I've been thinking about getting some replacement tuners. The holes seem different than most other tuners I've seen though . . . Do you know if there are any drop in replacements? I don't want to drill new holes, because I just repainted the headstock before considering swapping the tuners Here's a pic of the back of the headstock so you can see the hole pattern I'm talking about. Thanks! Edited October 3, 2006 by fyb
marksound
I put these on my MIM Strat. They drop right in.
fyb
I put these on my MIM Strat. They drop right in. Those might be the way to go. How do you like them?
marksound
They're the exact same tuners that come on American Deluxe models, and that's what I was shootin' for.
crafty
I had to ream the pegholes out to 10MM on my '95 MIM Strat to get those Fender-Schallers to fit.
marksound
Ok, here's the disclaimer I put in my ebay auctions: "As with all replacement parts, some fitting may be required."
