How To Remove The Nut

What's the best way to remove the nut,I have a lefty neck that I will use in a right handed Fender and I have to flip the nut.

Got it,removed it by pulling on it with a flat set of cutters...........the same kind used for fret work.

May seem obvious but if you've never don it before and you don't want to ruin a new neck............pull up,don't wiggle and be careful.

yeah ive clipped my fingers in the pliers wayyy to many times doing this..

one thing you said made me want to comment. you said you were going to "flip" the nut. generally speaking using a right handed nut flipped won't work real well. you probably already know this but your breakover point for the strings will be on the wrong side and you can get all kinds of buzzing and such.
