eboj07
Sorry about the semi stupid question that follows this line. If i were to replace a mexican strat neck with a usa strat neck would the fact that it has 22 frets as opposed to the mexis 21 make any difference. they both have the same scale length. No this doesn't have anything to do with getting the fender name, i couldn't care less, i am planning on getting a fender licensed replacement, as i have heard a lot of praise about the medium jumbo fretwire used on the usa necks, and from my playing experience they seem to play better too. Does anyone here think that this is the fretwire or is it just the way it was dressed? Thanks.
Mickguard
Not a stupid question at all...if the 22 fret neck has an overhang, then you shouldn't have any problem. But you have to have the overhang.
