come_again Posted January 29, 2007 Report Share Posted January 29, 2007 I Have just finished polishing up my guitar with mcguiars step 2 and then scratch x. The surface is glass like and is very smooth but there is a haze over the whole guitar left when i wiped off the scratch x and it makes the whole finish look terrible. Mattia Posted January 30, 2007 Report Share Posted January 30, 2007 Wipe down the finish well with water with a drop of dish soap in it, clean with a clean cloth, then apply something like showroom shine (final polishing product) to get rid of the haze.
